Abstract :
Silver has two stable isotopes Ag107 and Ag109 with nearly equal populations (51.35 percent and 48.65 percent). A microwave magnetic resonance apparatus employing a silver beam and simultaneous magnetic resonance of both isotopes was built and a so-called superposition line was measured. The possibility of using such an apparatus as a frequency standard is discussed.
