On the Electronic Three-Phase Active and Reactive Power Measurement

Abstract :
An instrument for simultaneous measurement of active and reactive power in the three-phase power plant connected either with three or four wires is described. A new, simple, electronic time-division multiplication is presented. With some improvements and with the use oftwo-stage current transformers, a very wide-range wattmeter of the accuracy class 0.1 percent has been obtained.
