EEMTIC 1979-editorial review and commentary

THE 1979 Electrical and Electronic Measurement and Test Instrument Conference (EEMTIC) was held in Ottawa, Ont., Canada, from May 15-17. Twenty-three papers were presented, of which all but four are included in this issue. The missing papers were also of high quality, and would have been included if their authors had not made arrangements to publish else where. Much of the northern hemisphere was represented, papers coming from as far east as Italy and from Japan in the opposite direction.
