Abstract :
This letter describes a distributed antenna switch suitable for short-range wireless transceiver integrated circuits with a better performance in terms of insertion loss and linearity than conventional single-pole double-throw switches. The principle has been verified on a Bluetooth front-end implemented in a 0.18μim bulk complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology with a supply voltage of 1.8 V.
