Abstract
Digital control of process equipment has become a major new tool, providing efficient solutions to today´s more exacting and complex manufacturing needs. A databus cable transmits high-speed logic signals, interconnecting these digital control systems. A databus cable´s electronic function is thus far more sophisticated than customary analog instrumentation or control cable. The presented information will assist the user in the analysis, design, selection, and installation of databus cable.
