Abstract :
A new polarity inversion scheme for low-power liquid crystal displays is proposed. The gate line is enabled in an interleaved sequence to trade-off the image quality with the power consumption while the column line inversion is performed. The image quality of the proposed scheme is better than the column line inversion in any possible sequence of gate line enabling.
