Abstract :
The computer-controlled instrument for the magnetic measurement of the SKS sector-type superconductivity magnet at KEK is described. The sector-shaped field is measured to a precision on the order of 10-4 of the maximum field by assemblies of Hall elements. The authors discuss the field measuring instrument, the concept of how to control the instrument and read data, and preliminary results on field mapping
