Abstract :
This paper considers the realization of the opencircuit impedance matrix or short-circuit admittance matrix of multiport networks containing positive resistors and two types of positive and negative reactive elements. A transformerless canonical structure is derived which employs the minimum number of resistors and at most n negative-LC driving-point impedances, where n is the order of the immittance matrix realized.
