Abstract :
The first dynamic response of fully packaged 2×2 InGaAlAs/InAlAs MQW directional coupler waveguides with spotsize converters is reported. The switching time is sufficiently fast at 100 ps. Only 1 bit of the 10 Gbit/s signal is lost during switching
