Abstract :
Arterial pulsatility was measured using an optical interferometer. As opposed to laser Doppler flow meters, the prototype system the authors evaluated can detect pulsation profiles of major arteries with potentially useful information including pulse wave velocity, profile of pulse pressure, etc.
