Abstract :
A brief biography of Charles Byron Jolliffe is given highlighting his professional achievements. He is chief of the electrical communications division of the National Defense Research Committee and secretary of the Industry Advisory Committee of the Board of War Communications. He joined the Institute as a Member in 1928 and transferred to the grade of Fellow in 1930. He has served as member of several committees, and in January, 1944, was elected a member of the Board.
