Abstract
An algorithm based on finite element analysis is suggested and used for stress analysis and computations of effective elastic, strength and thermal characteristics of complex heterogeneous media. The results of computations of effective characteristics of microheterogeneous Nb 3Sn superconducting coils of the ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) and T-15 thermonuclear reactors are presented. A tensor-polynomial criterion for the strength of these microheterogeneous coils have been constructed
