Abstract
An untethered VR system with force feedback based on the use of air pressure gives the user the feeling of touching an object. The result is an untethered human interface that´s easy to use in everyday life. The system uses a projection-based stereo display and optical position tracking. The user employs red and blue 3D glasses and a lightweight paddle. This article is available with a short video documentary on CD-ROM.
