Abstract :
The growth in spatio- temporal applications calls for new indexing structures. A typical spatio- temporal application is one that tracks the behavior of moving objects through location-aware devices (e.g., GPS). Through the last decade, many spatio- temporal access methods are developed. The goal of this paper is to outline the advance of the indexing methods in the previous years as well as to make review of all as a comparative study.
