Abstract :
A small computer-based system was designed and implemented for measuring electromyographic (EMG) silent period (SP) parameters and for averaging EMG signals. A commercially available microcomputer system (Tandy TRS-80 with 16K RAM, Z-80 processor, Basic interpreter in ROM, TV display, and keyboard) was interfaced in our laboratory to an analog-to-digital (A/D) converter and a hammer controller.
