Model forms-shouldn´t I be using them too?

This article discusses the raison d´etre for model forms of general conditions of contract. It also deals with some of the issues most often raised by potential users and seeks to emphasise that model forms aren´t just for the small companies (which may lack in-house, in-depth legal expertise): even large organisations with fully fledged contracts units could benefit considerably by adopting one, or more, preferred model forms.<>
