Abstract :
The effect on radiated interference of the application of frequency-hopping spread-spectrum modulation techniques to the clock frequency of a microcomputer has been investigated. Preliminary results show that this technique is capable of at least an 8 dBμV/m reduction in radiated quasipeak interference levels in the near field when using standard EMC measurement test bandwidths
