            Abstract :
Pulsatile flow waveforms in the dog femoral artery and abdominal aorta were derived from measurements of pressure before and after a brief vessel occlusion. Derived flows compared favorably with directly measured flows in the abdominal aorta, less so in the femoral artery. Possible sources of deviations are discussed.
