Abstract :
Describes a method using the moment operator to calculate the edge parameters for anisotropic images. It improves on the existing method of approximating rectangular image pixels as square pixels, and has a higher degree of accuracy in detecting edges. The the performance of the moment-based operator is improved by introducing an affine transformation before performing the integration
