  • Abstract
A supercontinuum (SC) lightwave is generated by employing a mode-locked laser diode with injection locking for the first time. The 25-GHz-spaced optical carriers in the generated SC lightwave over seamless S-, C-, and L-bands are locked to an optical frequency of 193.1 THz. The injection of a master light improved both the signal-to-noise ratio and linewidth of the optical carriers.
