Abstract
Rapid serial angiography is a common clinical technique for the assessment of important hemodynamic parameters. The accuracy of flow measurements, however, is seriously restricted by the fact that arterial blood exhibits not a constant but a pulsating velocity. In this paper, a method is described which allows the calculation of the instantaneous blood flow velocity by means of indicator concentration measurements.
