Abstract :
A generalization of the Hermite-Biehler theorem for the open left half plane is derived. Using this generalization, a graphical method for checking the stability of linear uncertain continuous-time systems is presented. The stability regions belong to a class of simply connected regions that includes most of the regions of interest in control
