Abstract :
A current-mirror-driven cascade amplifier, which is an open-loop, wide-bandwidth integrated video amplifier for high-resolution color CRT displays, and its key driver IC are described. The IC, with a bandwidth of DC to 300 MHz and an output current of 300 mA, is successfully applied in a 40 Vp-p video amplifier for 2 Mpixel displays operating up to 150 MHz. This IC, fabricated in 3 μm bipolar technology, has a high-current amplifier, a video gain controller, and a dual-input buffer with multiplexer
