Regulations concerning the supply of electricity in The Netherlands are discussed, and important issues are identified. Large-scale conventional generation, cogeneration, and wind energy are examined. The grid structures and characteristic materials used in the Dutch networks are described. Specific developments in The Netherlands are reviewed.<>
