Abstract :
The techniques of time modulat on and demodulation have been extensively developed in the past five years for radar range-finding, pulse communication, and data transmission. This paper presents a brief review of the basic processes employed in time modulation and gives representative examples of practical circuits. In military applications considerable emphasis has been placed upon high precision, and many methods for achieving a linearity and stability of 1 part in 104are available.
