Abstract :
The design and optimisation of a small and low-profile antenna for the satellite digital audio radio system using a nondominated sorting genetic algorithm is presented. A fairly omnidirectional elevation gain pattern over -60°<θ<60° is obtained at the XM frequency band. The height of the antenna is less than 0.19 λ.
