Abstract :
An ultra-small microstrip bandpass filter with a new type of capacitive coupled resonator is presented. The filter is more than two times smaller compared to the smallest known filters of the same class. The filter is designed for a centre frequency of 5.3 GHz. The agreement between the predicted and measured results is excellent.
