Abstract
Absorption at different frequencies in radio-occultation links may be used to derive atmospheric parameters. The impact of scintillation on this type of link is assessed for three different frequencies. Results on this impact are presented and show that scintillation may be the limiting factor in the lower part of the atmosphere when designing this type of link.
