Abstract :
The method of moments is used to solve functional equations arising in electromagnetics. A specific area, scattering from conducting structures, is treated by developing techniques for reducing the CPU time using concurrent and vector processing. A noniterative and an iterative technique are used to solve the matrix equation. The algorithm developed was run on an Alliant FX180 parallel computer.<>
