Abstract :
A lumped-element model is presented for the evaluation of the electromagnetic interference generated by a lightning protection system during a transient. The protection system considered, consisting of several downlead and potential equalization conductors, is complete. The proposed model accounts for possible ionization effects caused by high lightning currents. A map of the magnetic field near the wall to which the system is attached is shown
