Abstract
The moment-method solution for a rectangular microstrip antenna fed by a coaxial line is presented. Both the probe electric current and the coaxial aperture field are taken into consideration. Input impedances of the microstrip antenna calculated with and without the coaxial aperture field are compared. Comparisons with measurements are also shown. The influence of the coaxial aperture field on the evaluation of input impedances is noted
