  • Abstract
    This work presents a new approach to deal with load restoration in the continuation-based Quasi-Steady-State (CQSS) analysis. By appropriately choosing the continuation parameter, the differential equations representing the load restoration dynamics are eliminated in Quasi-Steady-State (QSS) simulation. This method will improve the speed of simulation and will take into account short-term load characteristics. Numerical results are illustrated on a small test system.
