  • Abstract
    Quantitative measurements of fast ions from CO2 laser-produced microballoon plasmas using a Thomson parabola ion spectrometer in conjunction with cellulose nitrate film are reported. The implications of fast-ion fluxes observed at a very large angle with respect to the laser beam axis are discussed.
