Abstract
A high-resolution streamer chamber was built in which the thermal diffusion of the ionization electrons has been suppressed during the trigger formation time. The chamber has been operated in a high-energy beam, and a resolution of 12-μm was achieved with two measurable streamers per millimeter of track. The chamber cross section is depicted, and measurement results are presented
