Abstract
The authors report the first measurement of high-energy gamma rays with a low-temperature calorimeter. The detector is a crystal of about 10.7 gm operated at a temperature of about 30 mK. The thermal pulses produced by gamma rays are detected and measured by a thermistor in thermal contact with the crystal. Spectra obtained by exposure to gamma rays of energies ranging from 122 to 2615 keV are reported and discussed
