Abstract
This paper proposes a novel method for decreasing the undesirable torque-vibration of a 2-phase servomotor in an unbalanced-drive condition. The cancellation is achieved by superposing odd harmonic signals on the voltage applied to the control winding. A testrun indicated that the vibration on the shaft could be reduced to ¿¿ by cancelling the second and the fourth harmonic components.
