Abstract :
A robust method to extract the epochal information of voiced speech in a noisy condition is proposed. Its excellent performance is demonstrated by testing a synthetic vowel /a/ and a natural vowel /u/, both contaminated by white Gaussian noise with SNR=10 dB. Compared with three other methods, the proposed method produces the most evident peaks at the glottal closure instants
