Abstract :
A rhinomanometer for routine use is described measuring the nasal airflow V¿with a Prandtl-type tube. V¿2 can be plotted in dependence of the transnasal pressure ¿p yielding a straight line in normal cases. Furthermore, the instrument measures ¿p/12 from which the nasal flow resistance can be deduced directly without a plotter.
