  • Abstract
    A 65 nm EDFA and a 100 nm EDFA/Raman hybrid amplifier with over 20 dB gain based on cerium codoped fluoride EDF with 980 nm pumping are demonstrated. The hybrid configuration also achieves low-noise performance over 100 nm.
