Abstract :
In FM-CW measurements, the displacement of the phase centre of the antenna generates a parasitic Doppler effect. Comparisons between measurements and simulations of a LPD antenna are described and validated. The Doppler effect induced by this antenna is then computed for the FM-CW radar application and compared to the classical one due to the aircraft movement.
