Abstract
There is a known difficulty in the effective evaluation of electric charge distribution on multi-electrode interdigital tranducers of surface acoustic waves. The spatial spectrum of this charge distribution determines the transducer frequency response. A method of solving this problem, that directly yields this spatial spectrum, is proposed. It can also be exploited in the evaluation of the total electric charge on strips having arbitrary electric potentials
