Abstract :
In this paper, a fuzzy gain scheduling of PI controller added with gain of the error rate to improve the transient response of a boost DC/DC converter is proposed. The proposed control system is easy for implementation. The performance evaluation is performed by the simulation through a MATLAB/Simulink program, with a 24 W load, a 12 V input and 24 V output voltage. The system has achieved as the following: the tight output voltage regulation both the transient response and the steady state. In addition, the transient response occurs in the system and the output voltages are at their minimum overshoot and undershoot with the minimum settling time.
