Abstract :
A microcomputer system of modest proportions may be used with long M-mode echocardiograph records stored on video tape to generate abridged echocardiograms showing only those segments satisfying appropriate selection criteria. By storing signals rather than displays, this technique permits considerable flexibility in selection methods and display formatting.
