Abstract :
In this paper Enns´ frequency weighted balanced truncation approach is extended using balanced singular perturbation approximation and square-root approach. As the requirement of accuracy in approximation error at particular frequency range may differ from the requirement at another frequency range which formulate the frequency weighted model reduction problem. A numerical example is considered to validate the proposed algorithm and the comparison with other existing techniques shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
