Abstract :
This paper evaluates the performance of target identification using matrix pencil method. The simulations are done with HOBBIES electromagnetic solver in frequency domain. In simulations, plane wave with different frequency ranges is transmitted to the target. The late-time portion of signals scattered from the target and obtained from IFFT is used to extract poles. These poles obtained from different frequency range in each operation are investigated and used to identify the targets.
