Abstract :
Electromagnetic devices under rotational and/or nonsinusoidal flux present higher magnetic losses when compared with sinusoidal regimes. In this paper, the rotational magnetization under nonsinusoidal induction waveforms is analyzed. A vector hysteresis model is employed in the analysis; calculated and experimental results are compared.
