Abstract :
This paper investigates the performance of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) cognitive radio network to provide highly reliable communication for all users in a network and efficient utilization of radio spectrum in a fair-minded way based on outage probability. The outage probability depends on the interference from license user (i.e., primary users) in a spectrum. We develop a simulation of outage probability with respect to interference threshold and average number of primary users to evaluate performance of a cognitive radio (CR) user in faded environment.
