  • Abstract
    A new image segmentation technique is proposed for extracting the character/graphic pixels from the scanned document images with multiple backgrounds. Results are compared with the cross entropy (CE) algorithm and nonlinear dynamic (ND) algorithm with the help of scanned and artificially generated document images
