  • Abstract
    Scientists are marshalling AI tools in the fight against the leading cause of cancer among women. Using digital information from traditional breast cancer detection techniques as well as newer detection methods, new applications of data mining and neural networks are helping doctors detect cancers sooner. The AI tools can also reduce the number of biopsies required in the diagnostic process. Neural networks and AI methods of pattern recognition can help indicate the presence of breast cancers.
