Abstract :
Presents an efficient iterative maximum likelihood algorithm for localising multiple sources in passive sensor arrays. By transforming Hermitian forms into inner products, this algorithm significantly reduces the computational complexity per iteration as compared to the alternating projection (AP) algorithm. The authors also present a computationally efficient initialisation procedure.
